  4. I was also fortunate to attend the programme on 22nd and 23rd May 2013 when PuduPeriva was there. Pudhu Periva attended the Pradosham Puja on 22nd evening and also visited the famous Eachengudi Ayyanar temple, situated at about half a kilometre on the eastern side of the village on the main road itself. Maha Periva had said a lot about this Ayyanar (Udappu kaththa Ayyanar also known as Kalyana Sastha) and the Karupppa swamy at the entrance to the temple. This temple needs repair and reconstruction and Pudhu Periva approved the work and blessed us . This ayyanar is kuladeivam for many families like ours. Those who are interested to participate in the reconstruction work may contact me on 9283170890 or prakash_idbi @ yahoo.co.uk. Last kumbabisegam was performed in 2003. Mr. chandramouli and Mr. Srikantan of eachengudi village take care of the activities and daily puja is performed by Shanmugasundaram gurukkal who is also staying in the village.I shall upload the photographs shortly.
