Abridged version of Periyava Puja Vidhanam

As we all are getting ready for Jayanthi celebration, I want to share the abridged version of  Periyava Puja Vidhanam book that was earlier shared in the blog. There are lots of articles about this book.

While this book is great with meanings etc, when it comes to using it in the puja, it posed logistics issues of being little bulky. Also if I dont know Tamil/Sanskrit, I probably dont want to keep a thick book that has all versions. I requested Sri Ravi Venkataraman to see the possibilities of stripping out each language content separately so that the number of pages are minimum – easier to carry with us, keep it during the puja etc. He gladly accepted to do this as he has the original text when he published this book….With the help of Sri Ravi and few other volunteers organized by Sai, we were able to create three different versions – Tamil, English and Sanskrit. The only difference between the main book and this condensed version is the meaning for each sloka. This condensed version will not have meanings while the main book would have.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sri Ravi, Sri Sai and other volunteers who want to remain anonymous for their contribution to world of Periyava.

Hope you all would find this useful.

Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara
